Autumn Fischer and Greg Russ are tackling life’s big issues one topic at at time. A whole episode dedicated to salt? Sure, they’d be open to that. A discussion about that old movie you wouldn’t think anyone would ever feel the need to talk about in-depth? Already done it. If you’re a thoughtless chump who holds no curiosity for the world around you, don’t waste your time listening to this podcast. But if you’re self-aware, smart, and fall for reverse psychology, One Topic is the show for you.

Judging

"I don't judge. I'm far too evolved and superior to engage in such unrefined behavior."
-WokeAintNoJoke1987, from the "Advanced Maturity" subreddit, January 2019
In response to WokeAintNoJoke1987: I saw your profile picture. An asymmetrical haircut, dyed green...wow, so original! And that shirt...THAT SHIRT!...what in the hell were you thinking? Also, it looks like you have bad breath. There's obviously no way I'd be able to tell without physically being next to you, but I'd be willing to bet you've got it and it stinks to high heaven.
There's no escaping judgment. Whether you're dishing it or receiving it, its existence persists. And that's okay. We all judge, some more than others, fueled by a variety of reasons, which is the basis of exploration for this week's episode. Hopefully Autumn and Greg will set you free to judge to your heart's content.

Great podcast! Loved the ending audio! Greg - I have felt similar feelings and had eerily similar thoughts in the past. When I regularly felt this way, people who I respect and love would try to offer recommendations, input, or advice, but I only grew more and more bitter or felt offended by it. Physical and mental symptoms of anxiety manifested when I feared I was becoming what I hated, and this lasted for years. Honestly, I had to accept a lot of those thoughts and feelings on my own, but it helped to know I wasn't alone when I made more of an effort to listen to people share their own, similar experiences. I hope some you find more and more happiness everyday, but if what I've thought and felt can be compared to what you've expressed, you may have to find most of your happiness on your own, over time, and I hope you do :) That being said, listening to all of the OneTopic podcasts may be more therapuetic than I originally realized. Thank you both so much for sharing your candid conversations. Your exchanges are helpful AND hilarious (and very much appreciated)!
